Many months of hard work by some incredible people has culminated in another successful Springfield/Urbana Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Each September, hundreds of walkers from our community gather on the beautiful campus of Wittenberg University to show their support and raise money for Alzheimer’s research. To date, they have raised nearly ninety thousand dollars in 2019, and more continues to come in.
I want to thank all the Springfield/Urbana Walk To End Alzheimer's committee members for their leadership: dedication and hard work to end this disease.
Below is a short clip of the moving "Promise Garden" ceremony held just before the walk.
