Many factors constrain leaders, but fear of failure should not be one. Every viable leader has tried and failed; it goes with the job description, or at least it should. In this time of increasing change and uncertainty, it is more important than ever to do things differently, experiment with new strategies, and think outside of the box, which means an increased failure rate. So, the next time you become frozen with the fear of failure, remember; Failure is not final, and dive in.
